To meet minimum qualifications for application to the apprenticeship an applicant must:

A) Be a minimum of 17 years of age to apply and 18 years of age at the time of indenture.

• B) Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the trade.

• C) Provide proof of high school graduation Diploma or have a GED.

• D) Provide an official transcript of high school and post high school education and training.

All GED records must be submitted if applicable.

• E) Show evidence of successful completion of one full year of high school algebra with a

passing grade, or one post high school algebra course with a passing grade.

• F) Submit a DD-214 to verify military training and/or experience if they are a veteran and wish

to receive consideration for such training/experience.

• G) Qualify for interview using the electrical trade’s aptitude test developed and validated by

the American Institutes for Research. Information about preparing for the aptitude test can be

found athttp://www.electricprep.com (test will be scheduled for you after application)

• H) Present evidence of a valid driver’s license.

• I) Individuals who can verify (proper documentation required) that they have worked a

minimum of four thousand (4000) hours specifically in the electrical construction trade, do not

need to meet the requirements of items (c), (d) and (e).

At time of Application, there is anapplication fee of $20.00

Each applicant must provide the materials listed from A thru I at the time they come in to fill out an application.
