An organization of over 2,500 members in Western Pennsylvania. We were formed in 1999 when Local Unions #6, #409, #530, #751, #2006, #479, #549, and #1968 with over 100 years of existence were combined into one council.
Our goal is to represent all of the individuals who wish to work at our trades in Western PA, and to help them achieve a career with good wages, benefits, safety, and dignity in the workplace. Our staff and members partner with local contractors to bring you the best possible painting, glazing, wallcovering, drywall finishing, and installation services.

Wallcoverers apply wallpaper and other decorative and protective coatings to walls in schools, hotels, restaraunts, and other facilities.
Wallcoverers apply wallpaper and other decorative and protective coatings to walls in schools, hotels, restaraunts, and other facilities. Aside from these skills, a wallcoverer needs to be able to accommodate a client’s time-sensitive needs by working during non-business hours.
