Management Analyst

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.


As a Management Analyst, you will: Analyze and recommend solutions to problems in organizational structure, administrative procedures, and work processes. Provide guidance on interpretation and implementation of new and revised legislation, policies, regulations, and procedures. Oversee contractor performance for quality assurance and reporting purposes. Prepare reports, briefing materials, and other written products that present findings, recommendations, and management information for leadership decision-making. Perform analytical reviews of management practices; identify organizational issues; and prepare recommendations to improve program operations and administrative processes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Conducting studies of work processes and procedures. Developing, modifying, and/or implementing internal operating procedures. Monitoring contractor performance to ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and specifications of the contract. Preparing and/or delivering briefings to managers on study findings, solutions, and recommendations. Developing, modifying, and/or implementing internal operating procedures.
